International Day of Persons with Disabilities celebrated at Saint Giles

Saint Giles celebrated International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2014 with their Remedial Gymnasium patients. The event was opened by managing director, Terry Rennie, and then two members of the gym shared their success stories and thanked the gym and staff members personally for their guidance and help. Members from the South African Association of Retired Persons recently took a tour of Saint Giles on a special Open Day. They enjoyed seeing the excellent facilities at the gym and the hard work the disabled staff put in at the work centre. They were also fascinated to see how those Robertson herbs and spices get packed. “What an amazing enterprise,” said Ann Macleod.
