SAINT GILES BURSARY FOR THE HANDICAPPED

The Saint Giles Educational Trust has been established to fund bursaries for handicapped people with effect from the 2006 academic year.

Field of study: The course chosen must be employment orientated and may include completion of secondary education.

Value: Adapted to meet the needs of the student.

Duration: Duration of the course.

Tenable at: Any institution of secondary or tertiary education within the Durban Metropolitan Unicity recognized by the Trustees.

Eligibility: Persons who are affected by a condition that markedly restricts their ability to function physically, mentally, or socially for whom training could solve the problem of finding suitable employment and who have insufficient funds for studying and who are older then 16 years. Preference will be given to residents of the Durban Metropolitan Unicity.

Closing Date: Completed application forms must be returned by the end of April in the year preceding the year for which funding is required. Applications which are incomplete or incorrectly filled in will not be processed.
